"Metropolitan Picture Framing designed a custom float frame for my Claybord panels over eight years ago. I asked them for a clean, architectural presentation for my art that would allow my panels to be recessed to protect them in my exhibitions across
the country. The final design was a beautiful, clear maple exterior with a black interior that set off my paintings beautifully. My customers love the contemporary, architectural presentation of my work in these frames."

Statement about the Artist's Work
Architecture has been the inspiration for my art for over twenty years. My digital photos of architecture are manipulated in Photoshop prior to their use as collage in my mixed media paintings. Compositions are constructed for a fusion of multiple perspectives. My application of paints and crayons sometimes suggest fresco walls; linear detail with graphite and pencils provides a visual pathway through the painting and may imply elements of an architectural drawing. All works are original on archival Claybord panels. Often I am asked to do site specific work based on a single building or a body of work by an architect. My pieces welcome repeated visual engagement and discovery and may be hung either vertically or horizontally, which allows the viewer multiple perspectives and interpretations of the composition.
