"For
years, I have relied on the extraordinarily reliable and personalized
service I have received in my dealings with Metropolitan Picture
Framing. They have provided me with superb advice in helping me
to select appropriate modes of presentation for my photographic
imagery. In addition, I have found their prices to be very fair.
I greatly enjoy working with the people at this company."
"In my work, I explore the spiritual and mysterious quality
of light as if a conversation were taking place between observed
phenomena and that corresponding part of my own nature. The contrast
between dark and light compels me to look for a sense of order,
all the while knowing that without the struggle of opposing forces,
there would be little meaning in the world in which we find ourselves."
Hofkin uses black and white infrared film to augment the emotional
content of her landscapes and to underscore a meditation upon the
fleeting nature of the moment.

Jordan Valley, Israel, February 10th -March 8th, 2003. During April
and May of 2003, her photographs will be displayed at the Jerusalem
