majority of my work is painted on panel,and it has been a long search
for a frame that suits the clean, direct quality I like to strive
for in my paintings and that allows for easy installation. The panel
floater frame offers enough width to give importance to a small
painting, as well as showing the entire piece without overlap on

I like the hardness and lack of grain, as well as the color of the

Marcia Burtt has painted landscapes since 1980,
when she looked out the window of a figure painting class and thought,
“I can do that.” Her work has been featured in Southwest
Art (April, 2002) and American Artist, and has been shown in galleries
from New York to San Francisco. She is a founding member of the
Oak Group, a Santa Barbara alliance of artists who, through sales
of their work over the last 16 years, have donated over $1 million
to land conservation.
