Metropolitan's thin gallery frames are museum quality and provide a more minimal look for framing fine art on paper and photographs.They have a 5/8" face and are available in 3 different depths. All gallery frames are available in all the Metropolitan woods and finishes and because we are a manufacturer we can offer many purchasing options.

Profile 102
The 102 profile is a custom wood frame fine art gallery frame designed to accommodate a 1/2" spacer and 1/2" strainer. This thin gallery frame is used both for artwork that is matted or "floating" on a museum mat board. Because it is thin we recommend spline joining and strainers to add stability and strength to the artwork package. All our gallery frames are available in 5 woods and 30 finishes. The 114 profile is a custom thin gallery frame designed to accommodate a 1/2" strainer. This thin gallery frame is most commonly used for matted artwork. We recommend spline joining and strainers on larger frames to add stability and strength to the artwork package. All our gallery frames are available in 5 woods and 30 finishes. Metropolitan woods and finishes.
